Robyn Kay VanDinther (Claussen), 54, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away at her home on December 7, 2023, after a three-year battle with cancer.
Robyn was born on November 17, 1969, to Lee Allen and Jacqueline Claussen (Strassburg) in Luverne, Minnesota. In 1996 she married Benjamin Lee VanDinther and moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Robyn was preceded in death by her father, Lee Allen Claussen, and her grandparents.
She is survived by her husband, Ben, her son, Christopher Thomas, her daughter-in-law, Sarah; her mother, Jacqueline Claussen; her sister, Rhonda Gillespie; her brother, Mark Claussen; her sister-in-law, Paula; the four young people she helped raise, Rob, Lauren, Amber, and John; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She is painfully missed, but her family and friends know how she would tell them to carry on: keep your hearts and your home wide open, be curious and try anything, explore this marvelous planet from its small towns to its jungles, experiment with different foods, tend your garden, have fun planning vacations, and listen to the person you are with.
