Robert Larson
Robert "Bob" Glenn Larson of Luverne, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019, after a long stay at Avera McKennan hospital in Sioux Falls.
Bob was born on July 21, 1950, in Winnebago, Minnesota. He was the fifth child, and only son of Genevieve and Richard Larson. Bob spent most of his life in the trucking business, both as a long-distance driver and operating a freight brokerage business.
Bob took pleasure in spending time visiting with his family and close friends. In his spare time he enjoyed watching football in the fall, listening to his Elvis records, and watching John Wayne movies. Above all, Bob enjoyed spending time with his daughter Lindsey whom he loved very much.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Larson, Genevieve Tomlinson, his stepfather Elden Tomlinson, his sister Bonnie Lyles, and his brothers-in-law Bill McCaw and Neil Lugge.
Bob is survived by his sisters DaraLee (Richard) Tillquist, Kathleen Lugge, Linda McCaw, his daughter Lindsey (Patrick) Higgins, his granddaughter Nora and many nieces and nephews.
Bob will be buried during a private family ceremony.
Bob's family would like to thank all of his friends and neighbors who had helped him over the years.
