Randy Kafka

Randy P. Kafka, 71, Roseville, died Monday, May 4, 2020, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in St. Cloud after battling cancer.
       Randy’s remains will be interred at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery with a plaque honoring his military service.
       Randy Kafka was born Sept. 22, 1948, to Joe L. and Rose (Musil) Kafka in Luverne. He graduated from Luverne High School in 1967 and attended the University of Minnesota after honorable discharge from the U.S. Army. While serving in the military, he survived combat in the Vietnam War and later manned an outpost along the Korean Demilitarized Zone.
       Randy loved his convertible cars and enjoyed card games with family and friends.
       He is survived by  brothers Jerome Kafka of Red Wing and Joe Kafka of Valley Springs, South Dakota; sisters Lorraine Bullis and Rita Robinson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Barbara Kruger of Lennox, South Dakota; and many nieces and nephews.
       He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Raymond; and a sister, Rosemary.
