Later Mike built several finishing barns and worked closely with his son and brothers. He sold his business to his son, Dallas, in June of 2012 and started commercial developments in Sioux Falls. In 2007 Mike and Toni moved north of Adrian.
Mike was a member of St. Adrian Catholic Church, a longtime board member at Adrian State Bank, and was instrumental in helping start up the Adrian Country Club Golf Course. Mike loved to hunt pheasants and coyotes. He also enjoyed bow hunting. Mike enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s events.
