Marlene A. Bullerman, age 87, of Adrian, Minnesota, joined her family in heaven on Thursday, November 30, 2023, while at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, December 4, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Adrian Catholic Church in Adrian. Burial followed in the St. Adrian Cemetery.
Marlene was born on April 25, 1936, to Russell and Eleanor (Kass) Reese in Ellsworth, Minnesota. She was raised in Nobles County and attended school at St. Adrian Catholic School in Adrian, Minnesota, graduating in 1955. During her school years, she worked in various capacities at Arnold Memorial Hospital in Adrian.
On September 3, 1956, Marlene married the love of her life, Landel “Boysie” Bullerman, at St. Adrian Catholic Church. The couple first lived on a farm near Rushmore, Minnesota. In 1963 they moved their young family to the Bullerman family farm, which became their lifelong home.
Marlene is lovingly survived by her five children, Tom (Trisha) Bullerman of Adrian, Bob (Lori) Bullerman of Pipestone, Minnesota, Jayne Kathman (friend, Brett Wittry) of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Randy (Renee) Bullerman of Adrian, and Lori “Odie” (John) Stoffel of Luverne, Minnesota; daughter-in-law, Toni Bullerman (friend, Keith Matthiesen) of Adrian; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; nine siblings; and numerous relatives and friends.
