Larry Lynn Reverts, age 67, of Luverne, Minnesota, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023.
A visitation was Sunday, Oct. 1 from 1-3 p.m. at the Hartquist Funeral Home in Luverne. A private family funeral service and burial will be at a later time.

Larry Lynn Reverts was born on Sept. 28, 1955, to Vernon and Ida (Olson) Reverts in Luverne, Minnesota. He was raised on a farm north of Luverne with his three siblings. He was baptized on Oct. 23, 1955, at Grace Lutheran Church in Luverne and later confirmed on May 16, 1971. Throughout his childhood, he was active in 4-H, showing hogs, sheep, and cattle at the state fair several times. He also enjoyed wrestling and FFA. He attended school at Luverne Public School, graduating in 1974.
After graduation, Larry continued working on his parents’ farm, where he had been helping since he was a child. He also enjoyed driving truck, something he started when he was 14 years old. He spent the next 38 years trucking, raising his family, and hobby farming. He taught his children and grandchildren the importance of working hard, and never retired from driving truck.
Larry loved his family and enjoyed spending time pestering them. Unexpected visits to steal food and take a nap on the couch were commonplace, and his grandchildren loved visits from “Grandpa Lar-dog.” He was proud to be able to help his children and grandchildren with 4-H. Many fond memories were made on family trips to Missouri. He also enjoyed spending time driving around on the back roads in his pickup around Rock and Nobles counties.
Larry is survived by his children, Traci (Tim Hieronimus) Gyberg of Adrian, Minnesota, Terri Baker of Luverne, Ben (Misty) Reverts of Elk Horn, Nebraska, and Cody (Karissa) Reverts of Adrian; grandchildren Dylan (Jada) Gyberg, Jordyn Gyberg, Paige (Jonathon) Stearns, Riley Baker, Hunter Baker, Brody Kopp, Ty Kopp, Kylie Reverts, Boen Reverts, Kourtney Reverts, Jake Stroh, Josh Stroh, Peyton Reverts, Kenley Reverts, Austyn Reverts, Hayden Reverts, and Taylor Peters; son-in-law Mike Stroh; and siblings Kenneth (Jodi) Reverts of Luverne, Dale (Cindy) Reverts of Luverne, and Kathy (Dave) Schoen of Prescott, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Ida Reverts; a daughter, Tanya Stroh; and a brother, Verlyn Reverts.
