Jack Beyer, 81, died Sunday, April 26, 2020.
       Jack and his twin sister were born on Jan. 15, 1939, to Paul and Luella (Winterfeld) Beyer in Luverne. The family moved to Phoenix in 1953. Jack served in the Army National Guard from 1960-1968.
       On Nov. 17, 1961, Jack married Lucille Piotter. Jack worked in banking for 43 years, rising from bookkeeper to vice president and manager. He retired in 2001.
       Jack was confirmed in the Lutheran church on June 22, 1948, and served the church in many capacities over the years.
       He was an avid card player, loved to garden and landscape, and enjoyed golf and tennis.
       Jack is survived by his wife, Lucille; two daughters, Deborah (Creighton) Donovan and Pamela (Edward) Grass; grandchildren Stephen and Andrew Donovan and Nathan and Natalie Grass; his twin sister, JoAnn Strege, Luverne; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
       He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Boyd Beyer.
