Elmer Menage, age 85, of Luverne, Minnesota, died peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, while at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Visitation was Sunday, January 14, from 2-5 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Luverne. Funeral service was Monday, January 15, at 10:30 a.m. at the Church. Burial will take place at a later date at Riverview Cemetery in Rock Rapids, Iowa. Arrangements are under the care of Hartquist Funeral Home in Luverne.
Elmer is lovingly survived by his wife, Karen of Luverne; his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Kristin (Randy) Kuechenmeister of Blue Earth, Minnesota, and their children, Joe and Katelyn (Blake) Boran [and great-grandbaby, Brynn]; daughter-in-law, Julie Menage of Springfield, Minnesota, and her children, Jacob and Jordyn; and Tom (Amy) Menage of Rock Rapids, Iowa, and their children, Peter (Shaylee) Menage [and great-grandbaby, Mace] and Paige (Brady) Panhoff; and other relatives and friends;
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey; parents; and two sisters, Shirley Roach and Jeanne Rohde.
