Daryl Reese

Daryl Jerome Reese, 77, Worthington, died Saturday, May 7, 2016, at South Shore Care Center in Worthington.
A funeral service was Thursday, May 12, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Worthington. Burial was at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Worthington.
Daryl Reese was born July 1, 1938, to Arnold and Ruth (Vande Velde) Reese in Luverne. He attended country school and graduated from Beaver Creek High School. After his schooling he worked in the construction business.
Daryl married Judy Stroh Sept. 29, 1959, in Luverne. They lived in Luverne until moving to Worthington in 1961. He then was employed with Campbell Soup Company until 1965 when he began hauling milk. In 1971 he started driving truck, doing long haul trucking for several different companies.
Daryl is survived by his wife, Judith Reese, Worthington; his children, Daniel (Robyn) Reese, Worthington; Kim (Jerry) Dalin, Bigelow; Jodie Reese, Austin; and Stacie Zeidi, Worthington; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bob (Judy) Reese, Luverne, Bud (Carol) Reese, Princeton, and Michael (Candy) Reese, Luverne; and two sisters, Mary (Johannas) Nath, Magnolia, and Sue (Don) Juntunen, Menahga.
