A funeral Service was Tuesday, June 2, at Heritage Funeral Home in Sioux Falls.
Betty Ann Stueven was born Jan. 5, 1966, to Marvin and Alma (Fick) Stueven in Luverne. The family lived in Hills until Betty Ann was 6 years old. They then moved to Sioux Falls. She graduated from Washington High School in 1985.
All her life she spent enjoying and taking care of her mother. She spent a short time in Golden Living Covington Height Center and at Avera Prince of Peace. In October 2010 she moved to her own apartment. She also was able to attend Kilian Community College and National American University.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling with her mother and Acorn trips along with seeing the country. She loved going to country music concerts, fairs, family reunions, getting out and seeing people and going many different places with her sisters. Betty Ann also loved reading, writing, watching TV and going to church. She spent a lot of time with a great-nephew Gabriel.
Betty Ann is survived by two sisters, Sheila (Dwight) Horton, Pipestone, and Laurie (Bob) Bell, Jasper; nieces and nephews, Rhonda Horton, Bobbie Lynn Williams, Cynthia Gaasterland, Eugene Horton; and great-nieces and great-nephews Rachel and Rebecca Gaasterland, Spicer, Braelee and Colton Horton, Good Thunder, Gabriel Horton, Luverne, Sutton Williams, and Laurelen, Silas Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, August and Anna Fick, and August and Kathreen Stueven; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
