Angeline Marie Oolbekkink, 95, New London, formerly of Luverne, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019, at GlenOaks Care Center in New London.
A funeral service was Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the American Reformed Church in Luverne. Burial was in Luverne Memory Gardens Cemetery. 
Angeline DeGraaff was born on June 2, 1924, to Frank and Anna (VanSloten) DeGraaff in Rock Valley, Iowa.  She grew up in Rock Valley where she attended high school, graduating in 1942.  She continued her education in LeMars, Iowa, in normal training.  She taught country school in Iowa.
Angeline married John Oolbekkink on Feb. 14, 1946.  They were blessed with three children, Edward, Beth and Raymond.  They made their home and farmed near Newkirk before moving to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to allow Ed an opportunity to attend a day activity center for disabled children. In 1959 they bought a farm in Rock County where they lived until moving to New London in 2011 to be near their daughter, Beth. In retirement, Angeline cleaned part time at the Luverne Hospital.  Her husband died on Dec. 22, 2012.  
Angeline was an active member of the American Reformed Church in Luverne. Her life centered on caring for her family.  She enjoyed singing, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.  
Angeline is survived by a daughter, Beth (Jay) Gravley, of Spicer and a son, Raymond Oolbekkink, of Round Lake; four grandchildren, Elyse (Eric) Hagen of New London, Joshua (Kimmy Erickson) Gravley of  Spicer, Jason Gravley of New London,  and Tyler (and Ceilia) Oolbekkink of Lakefield; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters Verna Boer of Rock Valley, Iowa, and Alma (Jerry) Van Aalsburg of Modesto, California; and  sister-in-law Geneva Kramer of Sheldon, Iowa.  
Angeline was preceded in death by her husband, John; a son, Edward; six brothers and three sisters.
