Dispatch report
Sept. 8
•State Patrol reported burglary near location. Subject is in white passenger vehicle heading north.
•Complainant reported she was gone overnight. When she got home, her front doorknob is broken and her back door is unlocked. It was locked when she left. Has not noticed anything missing yet. 
•Complainant requested extra patrol.
•Complainant reported a blue 80s Lumina-type vehicle is parked over the sidewalk n W. Lincoln Street. He has asked him not to park there and he continues to.
•Complainant reported subject intoxicated at location on N. McKenzie. Spilling liquor and throwing objects.
Sept. 9
•Complainant reported someone is smoking weed in their room.
•Complainant reported someone backed into him by the food stand. Deputies are tied up with previous call, patrol wrote.
•Dingmann Funeral Home reported they will be having a military funeral with a gun salute at 6:30 p.m. Monday at their site.
Sept. 10
Complainant reported traveling vehicle at location driving at excessive speeds recklessly. Transferred to Minnehaha County South Dakota.
•Complainant reported someone went through her husband’s work truck that was sitting in the driveway. She doesn’t think anything is missing but they spread everything around.
•Complainant in Jasper reported her brother is taking stuff from another brother’s property. He has been told not to take stuff.
•Complainant on Sherman Avenue reported about $50 was taken out of two vehicles last night.
•Complainant on Eugene Street reported someone stole $550 out of their pickup last night.
•Complainant reported a tan BMW on I-90 mile marker 9 westbound with bad driving conduct, inconsistent speeds, hitting the fog line, center line and swerving.
•Complainant reported that he has made reasonable allowances for subject to come and get personal property from location. Complainant reported this for documentation purposes as subject says she wants to get property when he is not home.
•Complainant reported possible elder abuse at location.
•Complainant reported out-of-control brush fire at location. Dispatch notified Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
Sept. 11
•Complainant wanted to speak to a deputy concerning the issue his sister called about yesterday. See linked record.
•Luverne Public Schools requested a deputy for a child they are having problems with.
•Complainant reported someone threw a brick through the garage window. She turned on the light and they took off on what sounded like a 4-wheeler.
•Complainant reported bicyclers on the Interstate.
•Complainant reported illegal dumping.
•Complainant advised a vulnerable adult that may require emergency protections services.
•Complainant reported she is having issues with her 14-year-old son.
•Complainant reported a semitrailer leaking propane gas headed northbound from 181st Street and Highway 23. Transferred complainant to State Patrol.
•Complainant reported vehicle abandoned at location. Vehicle was unoccupied and was not blocking.
Sept. 12
•Complainant requested a deputy to location as there is a verbal domestic taking place with subject.
•Complainant reported that her husband left for work and their child went missing shortly after. While dispatch was taking information for this call for service, complainant reported that she had found her child.
•Complainant reported a bulletin board that it appears someone may have stolen and planted there.
•Complainant reported a black pickup that has been going about 80 mph past her the last three school days on 161st Street.
•Complainant reported an infant about 12-18 months outside by this residence alone. The complainant gave the residence where the child lives.
•Complainant reported some other juveniles driving by yelling at him and another person.
•Complainant reported vandalism at location. Also reported party in vehicle is harassing his daughter.
Sept. 13
•Complainant called earlier. Eleven-year-old won’t get on the bus. While speaking to dispatch, she got on the bus.
•Complainant brought a syringe that was found by the dumpster.
•North Kniss business reported a semitrailer has been parked at location for a couple of days. Would like them notified they cannot park there.
•Complainant reported a big propane truck is swerving all over.
•Complainant reported a scam call. Was told there was a virus on her computer and to go buy iTune cards.
•Business reported owner left her driver’s license at business. Left message for her to pick it up.
•Complainant on E. Main Street reported a couple of people left a bag outside that looks suspicious.
•Complainant requested information about a rental property.
•Luverne Fire Department reported they are out for training.
•Complainant in rural Hills reported subject is out of control at location.
•Complainant in Kenneth reported physical assault at business by subject. Subject fled the scene.
•Complainant reported following vehicle. Driver is texting and swerving over center line on I-90, eastbound.
Sept. 14
•Complainant reported open door at location.
•Complainant reported two individuals dressed in black ran into cornfield at location.
•Complainant reported activated smoke alarm at location.
•Complainant reported individual at location is on drugs. Verbal argument. Requesting assistance.
•Transferred an erratic driver to State Patrol.
•Trooper reported an overloaded semitrailer heading northbound. Deputy stopped semitrailer.
•Complainant reported her cousin signed up for Vast or Mediacom service and doesn’t think the salesman was telling them the truth. Complainant was at her cousin’s house when the salesman was there.
•Complainant reported finding cards that may have been stolen out of Kanaranzi within the last week.
•Complainant reported a fire alarm. Key holder advised a small child pulled the alarm.
•Owner reported to sheriff that someone is trying to use a stolen credit card.
•Complainant reported that subject is off his medication and needs to be evaluated.
•Complainant reported neighbor’s kids are going in and out of her camper that is parked at location.
•Complainant reported suspicious activity at location. Juveniles at location yelled at her vehicle as she drove by.
 In addition, officers responded to 2 motor vehicle accidents, 2 deer accidents, 28 traffic stops, 12 paper services, 15 ambulance runs, 6 drug court tests, 8 animal complaints, 8 log/alarm sheets, 2 fingerprint requests, 1 driver’s license request, 6 drug court tests, 5 money escorts, 1 background check, 2 curfew checks, 1 narcotics check, 9 abandoned 911 calls, and issued 5 purchase/carry permits and 4 burn permits.
