Schomackers celebrate ribbon-cutting

Schomacker Flooring and Appliance owners and staff celebrated a ribbon-cutting and open house Monday night in their newly remodeled store at Cedar and Main streets. Schomacker Cleaning on West Main Street announced plans earlier this year to expand operations in the former Luverne Style Shop building on East Main Street. The company is working on agreements to offer a full line of household appliances from at least three major brands. While the cleaning business will continue to operate from the original location at the corner of Main and Estey, the current flooring operations will join the appliances at the new store.
