Edwin Allen Smith, 70, Allen, Texas, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at McKinney Medical Center.
Edwin Smith was born March 31, 1946, to Marvin and Nellie (Boeve) Smith. He married Peggy Winter on Sept. 4, 1971, in Adrian. He worked as a professional civil engineer in Minnesota, Colorado and Texas.
Edwin is survived by his wife, Peggy; three sons, Grady (Renee) Smith and their children McKenzie, Jacob, Matthew and Jillian, Darin (Melissa McConnell) Smith and their children Alexis and Kadin, and Riley (Kelley) Smith; his mother, Nellie Smith; a sister, Marilyn (Bruce) Oye; and two brothers, Gary (Susan) Smith and Larry (Lori) Smith.
