Randall Joseph “Randy” Krell, 62, Billings, Montana, formerly of Pipestone, died at his home Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016.
A graveside service was Saturday, Aug. 13, at St. Martin Catholic Cemetery in rural Woodstock.
Randall Krell was born Aug. 12, 1953, to William, Jr. and Evelyn (Voss) Krell in Pipestone. His family lived in Woodstock until the death of his father in 1957. They relocated to Ihlen in the fall of 1958 when his mother married Russ Harmsen.
Randy attended school in Pipestone and graduated in 1971. He married Candis Lane in 1974. He spent most of his adult life as a contractor working on projects all around the country.   In his own words, he was a “jack of all trades but master of none.” In his free time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle or playing his guitar.
He is survived by his son, Jesse (Rachelle) Krell; his mother, Evelyn (Russ) Harmsen; siblings, Beverly York, Joyce (Carl) Pierret, Gene (Dolly) Krell, Vicki (Brad) Quist, Deanna Scott, Mike (Karen) Harmsen, Kim (Tom) Frazier, and Terry Harmsen; and countless uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Krell Jr.; and his grandparents, William and Grace Krell and Joe and Josie Voss.
