Hustoft receives SDSU scholarship
Monaya Hustoft, Luverne, will receive the Phillis C. Hanskutt scholarship in visual arts for the upcoming academic year at South Dakota State University in Brookings.
Hustoft, a sophomore graphic design major, is the daughter of Shawn Hustoft and Brad Hustoft.
 
Christensen graduates from Gustavus Adolphus
Cody Christensen, Luverne, graduated Sunday, May 29, 2016, from Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, with a degree in management.
 
Behr graduates from Dakota Wesleyan
Jessica Behr, Luverne, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Dakota Wesleyan University, Mitchell, South Dakota, May 8, 2016.
Jessica is the daughter of Rick Behr, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
 
Stanley makes MSU dean’s list
Bryan Stanley, Luverne, has been named to the Minnesota State University, Moorhead, dean’s list for the Spring 2016 semester. Stanley is a music industry and jazz studies major.
To earn a spot on the MSU dean’s list students must maintain a 3.25 grade point average while carrying at least 12 graded credits.
 
Iowa State announces dean’s list
Brianna Maleki, Hills, and Natalie Morgan, Luverne, have been named to the Iowa State University, Ames, dean’s list for spring semester. Both are majoring in veterinary medicine.
To be named, students must earn a 3.5 GPA with at least 12 credits.
