Participants sought for work group meeting

The Rock County Land Management Office in cooperation with the Natural Resources Conservation Service will convene a local work group meeting to provide guidance and discuss local resource conservation concerns and NRCS programs in the county.
The next meeting will be 8 a.m. Monday, June 20, at the LMO lunchroom, 311 W. Gabrielson Road, Luverne.
The LWG includes representatives from cooperating federal, state and local agencies, conservation organization and the public.
LWG meetings are open to the public to provide localized input into natural resource priorities for the Rock County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Anyone interested in becoming a LWG member and participating in the workshops should contact Kurt Halfmann, NRCS district conservationist at 283-9146.
