The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of vehicle break-ins reported last week in Luverne.
According to Sheriff Evan Verbrugge, his office took five reports of break-ins to vehicles in the neighborhoods of the 400 block of North Freeman down to the 200 block of West Lincoln and in the 200 block of South Estey Street.
He said the break-ins were reported Wednesday night and Thursday morning, May 11 and 12, and it appears the crimes occurred sometime between 11 p.m. and 3:30 a.m.
There are no apparent suspects, and the Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in finding who did it and in preventing future crimes.
“If you had seen anyone suspicious out last night or have any information, please contact the Sheriff's Office at 507-283-5000,” Verbrugge said Thursday. “Thank you for your assistance.
Remember to take items of value out of your vehicles and bring them into your residence.”
