Gretchen Schneekloth and Christopher Luze were married March 12, 2016, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Father Tom Jennings officiated the ceremony.
Gretchen is the daughter of Marian Schneekloth, Luverne, and the late Steven Schneekloth. Christopher’s parents are Jeanette Luze, Sioux Falls, and the late Charles Luze.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Cory Schneekloth, Luverne, and her mother.
Music for the ceremony was provided by pianist Ginger Rasmussen and flutist Hope Rasmussen, Rock Rapids, Iowa, cousins of the groom, and soloist Susan Schneekloth, Luverne, aunt of the bride.
The bride’s maid of honor was her sister Nicole Schneekloth, Luverne. and the bride’s friend Stephanie Roozenboom, Luverne, was her matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Shelby Van Santen, Luverne, cousin of the bride; Mikell Hebig, Luverne, friend of the bride; KaraJo Schneekloth, Brandon, South Dakota, sister-in-law of the bride; Brooklyn Schneekloth, Little Rock, Iowa, niece of the bride; and the bride’s friends Olivia Berghorst, Madison, South Dakota, and Lexi Standafer, Beaver Creek.
Junior bridesmaids were the bride’s nieces Grace and Emma Schneekloth, Brandon, South Dakota. The bride’s niece Olivia Schneekloth, Brandon, was the flower girl.
The bride’s personal attendants were her sister-in-law Crystal Schneekloth, Omaha, Nebraska, and her friend Joelle McIndoe, California.
The groom’s brother Samuel Luze, Sioux Falls, was his best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Brady Leuthold, Brandon, Jonah Lingen, Beaver Creek, Dustin Verhey, Hills, and Tyler Larson, Beaver Creek; the groom’s cousins Aric Greenfield, Sioux Falls, and David McFarland, Texas; and the bride’s brother, Perry Schneekloth, Brandon. Junior groomsman was the bride’s nephew Blake Schneekloth, Brandon. The ring bearers were William Schneekloth, Omaha, nephew of the bride, and Connor Luze, Sioux Falls, nephew of the groom.
Ushers were the bride’s brothers Brian Schneekloth, Little Rock, and Wes Schneekloth, Omaha, and the groom’s friends Ben Van Keulen, Sioux Falls, and Colton Bass, Hills.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Ramkota Inn in Sioux Falls.
Gretchen graduated from Luverne High School in 2011 and from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, in 2016. She is employed at Papik Motors in Luverne.
Christopher is a 2009 graduate of Hills-Beaver Creek High School. He is employed at Express Ag in Luverne.
They live in Brandon.
