Attendance at annual children's fair almost doubles

More than 130 children and adults attended the Rock County Children’s Fair Thursday at the Luverne Elementary School commons.
“It was the first time at a new date,” said Karen Willers with the Rock County Early Childhood Initiative, which sponsored the event.
The event is designed to let families with young children know all the services and agencies that are available to them in Rock County.
It’s typically offered in September, but moving the interactive activities and information sessions to a later date almost doubled attendance numbers.
