Sanford Luverne Rehabilitation Department partnered with the Loan Closet at A.C.E. of SW MN for a service project at the Senior Center Tuesday, Oct. 20. As part of Physical Therapy Month, Sanford staff inspected, repaired, cleaned and organized various equipment including stool risers, commodes, shower chairs/bath benches, walkers and canes. ACE of SW MN expands and maintains essential community support services to help preserve community living for persons 60 and older and their family and informal caregivers. The Loan Closet may receive a $25 tax-deductible deposit for items utilized by community members. However, the deposit is returned to those with limited funds or who don’t wish to donate that amount.
