Performers in the Annual Rock County Talent Show took to the Palace Theatre stage in Luverne Wednesday night to sing, dance and entertain for judges and audience members.
With a full program with more than 30 entries, the Palace auditorium was full and local talent showcased at its best.
“It was a wonderful night at the Palace Theatre,” said Chamber Director Jane Wildung Lanphere.
When the curtains closed, judges tallied their scores and announced the winners in their respective categories.
Following are the winners of the Rock County Fair Talent Show, as reported by the Luverne Area Chamber:
Pre-Teen Division (ages 12 & under)
•1st Place – Kianna Healy “Part of Your World”
•2nd Place – Spotlight Dance – Ella Reisdorfer “Cinderella”
•3rd Place – Melley Brothers Band “Natural Disaster”
Teen Division (Ages 13-18)
•1st Place – Rebecca Dose “Don’t Rain on My Parade”
•2nd Place – Spotlight Dance – Grace Rozeboom “Among All of God’s Creatures
•3rd Place - Gabrielle Ferrell – “Put Your Records On”
Open Division (any age)
•1st Place – Nathan Sparks “Folsom Prison Blues”
•2nd Place – Madilyn Oye “Proud Mary”
•3rd Place – Spotlight Dance “Flash Light”
Prizes of $100, $75 and $50 are awarded to the top three winners in each category.
All first place winners at the county fair level advance to the Minnesota State Fair Amateur Talent Contest.
The event is sponsored by the Rock County Fair Board and Sioux Valley Energy.
