Dispatch report
June 19
•Complainant reported that she knew the subject that has been tearing around on his dirt bike or 4-wheeler in Hardwick. She owns the house that he lives in and when she went to talk to him, he took off and threatened to have her charged with stalking.
•Complainant requested we do a random alcohol test on subject. Tested negative.
•Complainant reported they have a person at their motel that refuses to leave. Sent deputy who found another spot for her.
•Complainant reported that he took his vehicle to have a new clutch put in and after doing so, he found out that it was put in wrong. Car dealership is claiming it’s his fault not theirs. He requested a deputy come immediately.
•National Weather Service reported a severe thunderstorm warning until 7:45 p.m.
•Complainant reported someone punched him in the face. Parties were separated and then someone else reported that after deputies left, complainant came back outside trying to fight with neighbors. Complainant’s mother threatened subject saying she was going to kick his butt and they shouldn’t mess with her.
•Deputy cited subject for no Minnesota driver’s license and no insurance. Requested G&S to tow to their lot.
June 20
•Deputy arrested subject for DWI and took her to jail.
•Complainant reported a branch down at W. Lincoln Street and N. Donaldson Street. Complainant moved it as much as he could but she couldn’t get it over the curb. Deputy moved it off the road onto the boulevard. Also reported other branches broken off and a tree snapped on S. Donaldson Street. Will contact city later in the morning.
•Complainant turned in a purple wallet that was found in South Dakota and turned in at the rest stop. Contacted owner and she is going to have her friend pick it up.
•Complainant reported power line down in the alley behind W. Luverne Street. City reported it was a cable line and not a hazard.
•Complainant reported they had a man that was bitten by a raccoon in Magnolia. Subject has several baby raccoons that he has been keeping.
•Complainant reported a road sign down at County Rd. 8 and 141st Street.
•Complainant reported a woman and young child walking on N. Cedar Street and the child’s pants are around his ankles. Complainant thought this was weird and requested they be checked on.
•Pipestone County reported a suicidal person in Rock County. They were sending a deputy and requested we send one also. Male was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
June 21
•Complainant reported some kids are moving the traffic cones and blocking off all lanes of Hwy. 75. Complainant moved them once and they got moved back.
•Complainant reported that subject was driving his tractor through Beaver Creek a lot and going to Rauk’s. Complainant asked him to slow down but he just gets angry and says he is only doing 25 mph. Complainant says he’s going too fast to stop for a child running into the street.
•Complainant reported there is a 3-wheeler with no muffler driving up and down through Hardwick and out of town on a gravel road. Complainant asked that a deputy speak with him.
•Reserved for narcotics laws.
June 22
•The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch effective until 9 a.m.

•Complainant reported there is a large branch blocking the southbound lane of Hwy. 75 by the Veterans Home. Notified Minnesota DOT.
•Complainant reported a tree blocking the road around the curve on Fairway Drive. City of Luverne was notified and thy will be out to move it.
•Deputy reported all detour signs directing traffic to County Rd. 20 are down because of the storm.
•Complainant reported subject broke into her home and stole a 32” Plasma TV and XBOX 360.
•Complainant reported there is a telelift behind his house on Rapp Street. He wants to find out who it belongs to and have it moved because people are dropping kids off for day care and he is concerned someone will back into it.
•Complainant requested to speak with a deputy about an eviction matter.
•Dispatcher received a 911 hang-up call with no answer on callback. Sent deputy to check.
•Deputy stopped a vehicle and driver had no Minnesota driver’s license. ID only.
•Complainant brought 3 empty DVD cases to the Rock County Sherriff’s Office that she found in her yard.
•Complainant reported loud music for the last three hours at E. Dodge Street and N. Spring Street.
•Complainant reported a possible drunk driver in the Hills area.
June 23
•Complainant requested a welfare check on subject who has not shown up for work for a few days and is not answering the phone. Deputy made contact and advised her to call her workplace.
•Dispatch received a 911 hang-up call with no answer on call back. Sent deputy to Hills to check.
ªComplainant requested we interview subject on a criminal sex case.
June 24
•Complainant reported two to four younger guys walking around the trains with flashlights and tripod. Got into a cross-over type vehicle, maybe gray in color, and headed eastbound.
•Complainant reported her granddaughter has a warrant from Pennington County. She is with a man that drivers a white Chevy pickup with a camper/topper with Minnesota plate. They are headed to Luverne.
•Complainant reported something about the size of 5-gallon bucket is on fire in the road. Doesn’t need the Fire Department but wants a deputy to check it out.
•Complainant reported that last night he got threatening phone calls from the ex-boyfriend of an employee that just quit.
•Sherriff cited subject for D.A.R.
•Complainant requested extra patrol for loud parties at night.
•Complainant reported subject went flying past her house well over the speed limit in his tractor. Willing to sign a complaint.
•Complainant requested to speak to a deputy regarding assistance in Rock County.
•Complainant reported subject flew by her house again in his tractor.
•Complainant reported there is a group of kids walking toward the ball diamonds behind the school and they’re shooting some kind of rifle.
June 25
•Complainant reported a door kicked in.
•Complainant reported a broken water main at S. McKenzie Street and E. Warren Street. Contacted the city.
•Complainant reported a wrong way driver on I-90 going eastbound in the westbound lane. Sent deputies and notified state patrol and Nobles County as subject is from Adrian. Deputy escorted elderly female driver to the Beaver Creek exit. She was looking for the berry farm.
•Complainant reported a fire alarm at the Oaks. Officer personnel said maintenance is working on it.
•Complainant brought in three license plates that he found at the car wash. They came off during the power wash. Contacted owners.
•Complainant reported he wants subject off his property. His motorhome broke down and complainant has tried to help him out but he now wants him gone.
•Complainant reported he fired subject and she will not return things for the office.
•Complainant reported trucks flying through the stop sign at County Rd. 11 and County Rd. 5.
•Complainant reported subject isn’t supposed to be there. Deputy spoke with several people who said that subject was moving his property to a storage unit and did not go to the residence.
•Complainant reported a dog in a vehicle and the windows are barely rolled down.
•Complainant reported smoke coming from the ceiling. Paged Luverne Fire Department.
In addition, officers responded to 7 motor vehicle accidents, 17 ambulance runs, 3 parking violations, 4 paper services, 7 animal complaints, 2 false alarms, 7 log/alarm sheets, 5 drug court tests, and issued 2 purchase/carry permits and 6 burn permits.
