A family golf outing ended in success for a Luverne man May 23.
Gary Golla played a round of golf over the Memorial Day weekend at the Little Crow Country Club near Spicer.
Joining Golla for the loop were his son, Nate, grandson, Jack, and son-in-law, Mike Zasada.
The outing turned into a special occasion when Gary registered the second hole-in-one of his career on the LCCC’s second hole.
Golla used a 6-iron to attack the pin on the par-3, 150-yard challenge.
His shot from the tee box landed on the green and rolled 20 feet into the cup.
Golla’s first ace came at the Luverne Country Club three years ago.
