COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES TO BE HELD FRIDAY JUNE 2
 
Thirty-Two Students to Graduate From Regular High School course—Six Post-Graduates
The commencement exercises at the Luverne high school will be held next Friday evening, June 2nd, at the Palace theatre, beginning at 8 o’clock, when the members of the graduating class will receive their diplomas from the Luverne board of education.
Although no definite program has been arranged yet, the commencement exercises will consist of the usual numbers, including the valedictory and salutatory addresses, for class history and will, and the prophecy, interspersed with several musical numbers.
The members of the class of 1922 will be:
 
ENGLISH COURSE:
Evangelyn Chesley, Francis Everett, Mabel Preston, Orile Davis
 
COMMERCIAL COURSE:
Raymond Campbell, Viola Foulk, Albert Haakenson, Herbert Hansen, Leona Hanson, Opal Hunter, Reginald Leslie, Herbert Nelson, Alva Teskey, Iris Wedge, Elsie White, Russell Wiggins, Nora Wold.
 
LATIN COURSE:
Lorraine Connell, Lulu Hanson, Elizabeth Martin, Gleva Nolterieke
 
NORMAL COURSE:
Edith Cook, Irene Drake, Anna Husen, Fannie Judd, Fern Lamm, Reeva Merkel, Mildred Pieper, Clara  Skyberg, Fern Speers, Erma Swenson, Alice Welzenbach
 
POST-GRADUATE NORMAL:
Laura Angell, Gladys Davis, Mildred Marr, Vance Tatge, Lena Todd, Maude Todd
Elizabeth Martin has won the place of valedictorian, and Lulu Hanson has been awarded salutatorian honors.
Reserved seats will be on sale at the Palace Wednesday morning at nine o’clock. A charge of 25 cents will be made to help defray the expenses.
The baccalaureate services will be held next Sunday afternoon, May 28, at three o’clock at the Presbyterian church. The Rev. J.A. Saunders will deliver the baccalaureate address.
