"Murray & Palmer, the railroad contractors who were on the Burlington extension work and later at the Omaha's gravel pit, closed up affairs here this week and left. The sale of their stock took place Saturday, when the mules brought an average price of $70 and the horses $60. Buyers paid cash in most instances."
