When Life Gives you lemons ...

Luverne Elementary School first- and third-graders performed “Lemonade: A Musical for Young Singers” Friday in the school gymnasium. The musical written by John Jacobson and John Higgins featured numerous nursery rhyme and fairy tale characters describing their woes to the audience and ending with the characters making lemonade. “Instead of looking at the downside of things … no matter what happens, try to find the good in things,” said director Beth Capistran during her introduction.
