'We wish you a Merry Christmas' at Tuff

The Hills-Beaver Creek High School band and choir students spread holiday cheer Monday afternoon at the Tuff Memorial Home in Hills where they sang Christmas carols to residents. Lucille Gangestad (left) and Art Boeve listened through open windows as students sang recognizable carols like “Here Comes Santa Claus,” “Jingle Bells,” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”  H-BC choral instructor Amy Comp said, “This is something new this year,”
 
Students donned masks due to the coronavirus pandemic and did not go inside the facility. They also dropped off holiday centerpieces made by the school’s advisory groups for the nursing home’s dining room. The groups spent the month of December discussing the importance of gratitude by volunteering and recognizing items for which they are grateful.
