Two Luverne residents died in a one-vehicle crash this morning, according to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
Myron Waddington, 39, and Jennifer Cattnach, 41, were riding in a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu on County Road 7, two-and-one-half miles west of Hardwick near 120th Avenue, when the crash occurred.
The sheriff’s office received a call at 6:09 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, from a passerby.
According to Sheriff Evan Verbrugge, the vehicle left the roadway, lost control on the gravel shoulder, hit a field approach and rolled. Alcohol may be a factor in the accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
