Turtle Power

Discovery Time preschoolers spent Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 2, learning about turtles — what they eat, where they sleep and how they prefer to be handled. Prairie Ecology Bus naturalist Stepheney Studer from Lakefield visited the Luverne Community Education classroom with lessons that involved students coloring and assembling turtle puppets out of paper. Funding for the visit was provided by the Harvey Ordung Perpetual Fund.
