Stratton sworn in as newest Rock County Deputy

Rock County Sheriff Evan Verbrugge (standing right) conducts the swearing-in ceremony Tuesday morning, Jan. 21, during the commissioner’s meeting for the department’s newest deputy sheriff Jeff Stratton. Stratton is a 1998 Luverne High School graduate and spent 12 years as a deputy with the Carver County Sheriffs Office based in Chanhassen. Stratton replaces Dan Fick, who resigned last year. Stratton and his wife, Amy, have three children. He is the son of Sheri and Robin Stratton of Luverne.
