With the Minnesota governor’s recent “dial back” of some businesses, local students will continue on their current paths as conditions allow.
Hills-Beaver Creek has been using an in-person, socially-distanced approach to classroom learning that stay staff say is safe and effective.
Luverne Public Schools will continue educating in the same learning models implemented earlier this month.
The models are effective through Friday, Dec. 4.
The number of students and staff affected by the coronavirus has grown in the past two weeks from 81 affected, quarantined or waiting test results to 105.
“The incident command team will continue to meet weekly to evaluate our situation,” said Luverne Superintendent Craig Oftedahl.
Middle and high school students moved from an every-other-day, in-person hybrid model to distance learning at home on Nov. 9.
