One stolen vehicle has been located and another has been reported stolen, according to information from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
A minivan was stolen May 11 from Centennial Apartments in Luverne and was recovered this past weekend in Sioux Falls.
The report stated that the red 2003 Dodge Caravan had been parked at 120 N. Spring Street with the doors locked.
There were no leads on suspects in that case, but the Sioux Falls Police Department notified Rock County that it had been found in a parking lot on Summit Avenue and it was picked up Monday.
Meanwhile the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen vehicle on Sunday afternoon around 2:19 pm from Jim DenHerder.
The 2004 white Ford F350 pickup was in his locked shop at 804 Edgehill Street and was taken sometime between Friday evening and 2 p.m. on Saturday.
It appears that someone had pushed in a window, climbed in the shop and took the truck.
There are unknown suspects at this time, and anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Office at 507-283-5000.
