Minnesota VFW Scout of the Year Blake Madison of Adrian was presented a check for $1,000 from the Minnesota Department of Veterans of Foreign Wars and a $100 check from the local VFW 2757 Post on Aug. 4 at the Rock County Courthouse in Luverne. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the presentation was done locally for Blake, the son of Dawn Anderson, Adrian, and Les Madison, Wilmont. The Luverne post sponsored Madison’s nomination for the state award.
