Plow day offers opportunity to 'play in dirt' with two-stroke John Deeres

Rock County’s Dick Kramer hosted his fifth annual Plow Day Saturday, Nov. 7, with nearly 10 vintage tractors and plows that turned dirt on 20 acres of soybean stubble on his Springwater Township farm. When asked about the event’s purpose, Kramer said, “It’s just because we like to play with our two-cylinder John Deeres.” The event attracted 30 people, which included spectators and drivers. Equipment ranged in age from 1935 models to 1970s.
