The Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series debuted Tuesday at The Plaza at the corner of Main Street and McKenzie Avenue. In addition to evening activities, a late morning/early afternoon plaza event was suggested, and organizers arranged for Ron and Jane Cote of Luverne to provide the entertainment for the two-hour event. About 100 people attended the event under partly cloudy skies and upper 60-degree temperatures. According to Luverne Area Chamber Director Jane Wildung-Lanphere, more concert series will depend on finances and availability of local entertainers.
