'One Warm Coat' collection through October

Donations of new or clean, gently used coats of all sizes are being accepted now until the end of the month for individuals and children in Rock County for the “One Warm Coat” program. Coats and other cold weather accessories can be dropped off at the Luverne Elementary School commons or at the ATLAS office at 201 E. Main (second floor) in Luverne. ALTAS will also accept monetary donations to purchase hard-to-find sizes. Distribution will be Nov. 4 and 9. Contact ATLAS at 507-449-5777 for more information on the One Warm Coat campaign, a nationwide program celebrating its 25-year anniversary.

Also at the elementary school, SHARE (Sharing Hearts Are Reaching Everyone) is collecting new, unopened packages of socks and underwear for families in Rock County.
