New pastor to be ordained at Hills church

Maggie Rose Berndt-Dreyer will be ordained to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament in Christ’s one, holy, catholic and apostolic church at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 26, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hills.
The Rev. Jon Anderson, bishop of the Southwestern Minnesota Synod Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, will preside.
Lunch will be served in the basement following the ordination. The community is invited to attend the services.
Dryer and her husband moved to Hills earlier this week. She was educated at Lehigh University class of 2008 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. Her hometown is Spring Grove, Pennsylvania.
