Mrs. Claus visits Tuff Home on horseback

Volunteers from Rock Ranch dressed as Mrs. Claus and her elves Saturday afternoon for a ride around the Tuff Memorial Home and Tuff Village Assisted Living in Hills. The coronavirus pandemic canceled the Ranch’s Senior Saddles program, which encourages senior citizens to travel to the farm west of Hills to view, pet and/or ride the horses. Ranch owner and manager Marie LaRock said one volunteer suggested taking the horses to the residents. “After that comment, we all jumped on board with what we could do and how we could do it. Lots of excitement followed!”
