Trees in Luverne and Rock County are sporting their fall colors as the summer season changes to fall. This photograph was taken Oct. 13 at the intersection of Lincoln and Estey streets, facing west toward Highway 75.

After a few frosty nights last week, warmer weather has prevailed, allowing trees to hang onto their colorful foliage a bit longer. Property owners will be busy raking leaves to the boulevards in the next couple of weeks for city crews to pick up during annual fall leaf pickup service.
