Luverne teachers give special treat at 10th annual Bank Nite

Luverne Education Association members hand out free boxes of popcorn to all moviegoers Thursday night as a way for the teachers to give back to the community. Thursday night’s movie opened the 10th year of Bank Nite, which brought back the free showing of a family-friendly movie on the first Thursday of the month as was done years ago in Luverne. A cash drawing takes place at the conclusion of the show. The next Bank Nite is Feb. 6.
