After several years of dwindling soccer participation in Luverne, the sport is back on track with the fields west of school hosting players and families on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. According to the Community Education Fall Soccer Facebook page, “Luverne Soccer — It’s a Kick,” 99 players were signed up as of Aug. 4 when the fall season started. The program is for ages 4 through fifth grade (as completed this spring).
