Luverne graduate is member of first-place cyber security team

Logan Stratton, a senior cyber operations major at Dakota State University, Madison, South Dakota, was a member of the school’s computing team and recently repeated as a first-place finisher during this fall’s cyber events.
Stratton’s team placed first overall at the MetaCTF CyberGames 2020 for the second consecutive year and the Digi-Key Collegiate Computing Competition for the third consecutive year.
All competitions were completed virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The competitions challenge the teams of four and encourage participants to learn new techniques and concepts related to cybersecurity. Teams receive points for addressing each issue and accumulate as many points as they can before time expires.
