Local Insurance Professionals recognized by association

Several local insurance professionals were recently recognized for excellence by the Insurance Professionals of Greater Sioux Falls.
Samantha DeBates, Senior Advantage Account Underwriter of Continental Western Group of Luverne, was named Insurance Professional of the Year for excellence in the insurance industry for 10 years or more.
The award considers participation in association activities, involvement in the insurance industry, education programs, industry experience, current career position and activities in the community.
Krista Ahrendt, Commercial Underwriter of Continental Western Group of Luverne, was named Professional Underwriter of the Year.
This award recognizes an underwriter who has demonstrated superior knowledge of the field, experienced professional advancement through educational pursuits, demonstrated leadership and is an active participant in International Association of Insurance Professionals activities.
Natilee Woodley, Senior Business Support Specialist of Continental Western Group, Luverne, was recognized as the president of the Insurance Professionals of Greater Sioux Falls association for the past year.
Natilee was recognized for her leadership qualities with effective communication to all members and helping others to be successful in the organization.
The individuals were honored at the association’s 2018 banquet on May 15 in Sioux Falls.
The International Association of Insurance Professionals is best known for providing insurance education, skills enhancement, and leadership development to its members.
