In Like A Lion ...

As snowflakes gently fall Tuesday morning, Don Patton of Hardwick cleans the Main Street sidewalks of new snow that fell overnight. March came in like a lion, blanketing parts of Rock County with almost 5 inches of snow. According to Farmer’s Almanac, the saying “In like a lamb, out like a lion” and vice versa is more of a rhyme than a weather prediction, as it holds true as often as it doesn’t. If it’s true this year, March will end on a mild note.
