LHS celebrates Snow Week Feb. 3-7

Dress-up days and coronation activities return to Luverne High School in early February for Snow Week 2020.
The week of activities takes place Feb. 3-7 with each day designated with a theme in which students and staff will dress for the day.
Wednesday is Drive a Snowmobile to School Day with an afternoon of activities slated for students in grades nine through 12.
Teachers recognized 12 seniors as snow week royalty for their positive leadership and involvement in activities during their years in school.
Snow Week queen candidates are Michelle Arevalo, Claire Baustian, Alexa Chesley, Anita Cole-Kraty, Madi Flom and Mela Jarchow.
King candidates are Isaiah Bartels, Colby Crabtree, Graham Cunningham, Brody DeBates, Gunnar Oldre and Jordan Winter.
Selection of Snow Week king and queen will take place during a coronation ceremony at 2:05 p.m. Monday in the school gymnasium.
Luverne High School Student Council members have been organizing annual Snow Week activities since 2016.
