'I Rocked the River' event offers cool fun on hot day

Seventy-one people paddled kayaks down 10.31 miles of the Rock River Saturday morning as part of the “I Rocked the River” event. “In spite of the extremely hot weather, you were wonderful guests on the river,” said Luverne Area Chamber Director Jane Wildung Lanphere. All kayakers finished at the Luverne City Park and participated in activities in an “After Row Party,” a new event this year at Take 16 Brewing Co.
