H-BC secondary hosts outdoor open house

Teachers at Hills-Beaver Creek High School lined the front lawn Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 2, for a three-hour outdoor open house to kick off the school year. It was a chance for students to pick up Chromebooks and class schedules and reconnect with advisory teachers. The face-to-face, socially distanced meetings were the first between students and teachers in more than five months, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Elementary teachers met individually with parents and students, including on Tuesday, the first day for in-person classes for secondary students. H-BC elementary classes began Wednesday.
