Saturday’s wedding reception for Lexi Burmeister and Ben Aukes was the first one on the books for Mike and Wanda Jarchow’s Grand Prairie Events Center.
Construction on the former Family Dollar building piqued public interest through the summer, so by Friday afternoon, wedding decorators discovered they had an audience of curious onlookers.
