Members of the Luverne-Adrian FFA Chapter traveled to South Dakota State University in Brookings to participate in the Region 6 FFA Contests April 8.
The General Livestock team was the only team to place high enough to participate in the upcoming State FFA Convention contests.
The team placed third out of 18 teams.
Individually Tommy Norman placed fourth, Tanner Baustian placed seventh and Payton Fick placed tenth overall. Dylan and Trevor Mente are also members of the team.
Two other teams participated in the qualifying contest without placing.
The Meats team consisted of Aric Meinterts, Cody Sasker and Ethan Thorson.
Amber DeGroot, Alena Hilfers and Jared Jose participated in the Dairy contest.
